If you’re a creator in Canada, there’s one key step to make Melon work for you: you’ll need a Wise US bank account.

Why?
The goal of using Wise is to get a US bank routing number and account number. OnlyFans and Melon process payouts in USD, and these US banking details are required for payments to work smoothly.

How to set it up

  1. Sign up for Wise
Go to wise.com and create an account.

    • If you’re registered as a business in Canada → open a Wise Business account.

    • If you’re not registered as a business → open a Wise Personal account.

    • In both cases, set your primary country of residence to Canada.

    Already have a Wise account?
Simply add USD as a new currency inside your existing Wise account — this will give you a US bank routing number and account number.

  2. Add USD as a new currency
just click the "Add another currency to your account" button on your main wise dashboard

    1. choose "balance" as the currency account type

  3. Get your US routing and account numbers
Once your Wise USD balance is set up, go to that balance in Wise. You’ll see your US routing number and US account number there.

  4. Add your Wise US bank account to OnlyFans
In OnlyFans payout settings, enter your Wise US routing and account numbers.

  5. Connect the same account to Melon
In Melon, link the exact same Wise US account so payouts flow without issues. You can do this with the normal bank account linking process via Plaid.

💡 Tip: Once funds are in Wise, you can easily withdraw them in CAD or any other currency you prefer.
