Go to Settings, connect the new account, then set it as the one Melon uses. Connect the new account before removing the old one so there is never a gap where Melon has no usable account.
Changing it
Go to Settings.
Connect the new bank account.
Set it as the account Melon uses.
Remove the old one once the new one is active.
Timing
Avoid changing accounts immediately before a payout or a scheduled charge. A change that lands mid-cycle can leave a charge attempted against an account that is on its way out.
For creators, the safest time is just after a charge has cleared. For agencies, just after a Thursday payout.
What happens to in-flight money
A transfer already in progress completes against the old account. Only future activity uses the new one, so leave the old account open until anything in flight has settled.
Splits that watch for deposits
If a split detects cashouts from bank deposits, changing accounts changes what Melon can see. Make sure the platform pays into the new account, or cashouts will stop being detected even though the connection is healthy.
