A split with more than two parties — for example an agency and the account manager who runs that page. Each participant has their own percentage and is paid directly by Melon.

Everyone on the split, including the creator, can see every participant. For a private arrangement, use a referral split instead.

Adding participants

At the Split details step of split creation, click the + icon, enter the additional participant's email address, and set the percentages. They must total 100%.

Each participant receives their own invite and needs a Melon account with completed KYC before they can be paid.

How they are paid

Melon charges the creator once for the whole amount, then allocates it across participants by their percentages and pays each one directly. Nobody has to forward money to anybody.

Allocation is exact — rounding is distributed so the parts always sum to the charged total, with no lost cent.

Adding a participant later

Percentages are a two-party agreement, so changing them after the split is active goes through the request-and-approve flow. See How do I edit a split?.

Visibility

Every participant sees the full list and every percentage. If someone should not be visible to the creator, they should not be on the split — put them on a referral split, which is only visible to the agency and the referral partner.
